Pattern: Large Hood by eqos Pattern: Large Hood by eqos
You can cut the face opening larger, or keep it straight.

Here are some instructions: [link]

Congratulations, this is an awesome yet simple pattern, I am going to make this for sure. Just a question, In your pattern instructions, are you taking in consideration sewing allowance??

Yes. I usually use a 5/8" seam allowance.

so is this basically a one size fits most deal? I mean, I noticed that the whole thing fits rather loosely on you

Depends on how loose you like the fit to be :)

Awesome pattern… would you mind posting some basic instructions? I'm not exactly sure how to attach all of the pieces.

May be a silly question... But what is a gore? Not 100% on this type of thing and I am rather new to this sort of thing anyway.

Gores are pieces, either triangular, square, or a slice of a circle, that are inserted into slashes or seams in order to add more size to the piece. So you can see in the photo that the front of the hood has a big triangle made up of two smaller triangles. The two triangles together make the gore, that is sewn to the front edges of the hood piece. I hope that makes sense...
