No, the short-sleeve dress is the one the pattern is for. I did make it with shorter sleeves than the pattern calls for.

I just ended up making it a little different than the pattern when I sewed it. Other than that, it is the same as the pattern.

What fabric would you recommend?

For the one in the photo, I used a light, thin-wale cotton corduroy. Usually light-to-medium fabrics work better with patterns that have large gores. Thicker or stiffer fabrics tend to drape funny and make the gores stick out.

Wow, you make all these patterns yourself?

free draft or there a program that helps in the process of it all? Or working with patterns you were able to get your hands on?
