This is closer to the Nockert type 5 tunic [link] , since it only has side gores. However, I won't be using the gores to help form the armscye. I wanted just side gores because experience tells me that sometimes the front gore hangs weirdly and sometimes it's okay (I think it depends on the fabric, or perhaps the width of the gore). Anyway I didn't want to take chances.

2 yards of 45" fabric.

The sleeves are constructed as shown here [link] . I actually don't know how well that'll work with a square gusset, so we'll see, and if it comes down to it I can always cut the gusset into a triangle.

My patterns are free to use for private, noncommercial purposes. DO NOT distribute my patterns as your own. DO NOT sell my patterns.

If you use the pattern, I would like to see a photo of the final result :)
